Simon Lauzier

Chief Financial and Business Performance Officer


Since 2019, Simon Lauzier has overseen Ivanhoé Cambridge’s portfolio construction, finance, and digital teams as Chief Financial and Business Performance Officer. He is also responsible for piloting and executing new complementary investment strategies (credit, REITs, capital markets). Previously, Simon was Senior Vice President, Investment Optimization and Capital Markets. He joined Ivanhoé Cambridge in 2017.

In his role, Simon has invested in building the teams and infrastructure to support IC’s growth and enhance its performance. Among others, he is responsible for the vision and implementation of “IC Invest”, Ivanhoé Cambridge’s integrated and data-driven performance chain that allows the continuous optimization of the portfolio through transaction calibration, real-time asset information and advanced analytics.

Simon has more than 20 years of expertise in real estate investments. He held various functions internationally in M&A, business development, risk, originations, financing, and asset management. During his career, Simon has been involved in large debt and equity acquisitions, restructuring and dispositions both in the private and public domain. Before joining Ivanhoé Cambridge, he was based in London as Managing Director, Mergers and Acquisitions – Europe, a position that rounded out his long international career at GE Capital. Simon has also worked at HSBC in investment banking in Toronto and holds the CFA designation.
