Adriano Mantesso

Managing Director, Latin America


As the leader of the Latin America team, Adriano Mantesso is responsible for making real estate investments locally, developing asset-management strategies and overseeing the formation of strategic partnerships for the region.

Mr. Mantesso has extensive experience in the industry, specifically in the management of property funds in Brazil and elsewhere in South America. Before joining Ivanhoé Cambridge in 2017 as head of Brazil, he worked for five years at the investment bank BTG Pactual, where he became Partner and Head of Income Producing Properties (Real Estate), managing what was then the largest local REIT. He was also a member of the bank’s real estate investment committee, responsible for assessing retail, office and residential development projects. From 2005 to 2012, he worked for Brazilian Capital, managing private and public real estate investment funds. Having started his career at Arthur Andersen in 1998, he has worked for a variety of firms over the years.

Mr. Mantesso holds a Master of Business Administration from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mauá Business School in Brazil. He speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish fluently.
