Isabelle Martin

Head of Strategic Partnerships, United States and Latin America


In her role as Head of Strategic Partnerships for the United States and Latin America, Isabelle Martin plays a key role in optimizing business relationships with Ivanhoé Cambridge’s strategic partners and liaises with all internal teams to drive better investment decisions for the organization.

Her career has led her to contribute significantly to the development of Ivanhoé Cambridge’s portfolio over time. Previously, she was responsible for implementing the investment strategies used by the company for its real estate investment funds and led a team of a dozen people. In this role, she was responsible for identifying, negotiating and executing investment opportunities. In addition to contributing to exploring and evaluating projects, she oversaw due diligence reviews, negotiation and implementation of partnerships, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Isabelle is known as an authentic, inspiring, and inclusive leader. She fundamentally believes that a diversity of profiles and professional experiences makes teams stronger, and this goes far beyond technical skills.

Isabelle has worked in the finance and investment industry for over 25 years. Prior to joining Ivanhoé Cambridge in 2011 as Senior Director, Transactions, Hotels, and being promoted to Senior Director, Real Estate Investment Funds, she held various positions at Ernst & Young in Montreal, Paris, and New York.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from École des hautes études commerciales (now HEC Montréal) and is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec. Isabelle received the Excellence and Leadership award in 2022 from CREW M. She sits on the Board of Directors of the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) and currently chairs the Board of Directors of the Baluchon Alzheimer Foundation.
