Executive Vice President, Legal Affairs, General Counsel and Secretary
Denis Boulianne manages all the activities of the legal department of Ivanhoé Cambridge, including assisting the investment teams with acquisitions, dispositions, financings, partnerships and property development projects as well as the operations related to the assets under direct management. He is also responsible for the corporate and compliance team and is the secretary of the board of directors of Ivanhoé Cambridge Inc.
Mr. Boulianne has been practicing law for more than 20 years. He joined Ivanhoé Cambridge in September 2007. Previously, he practiced law with Fasken Martineau in Toronto and Shearman & Sterling in Paris before joining the legal department of Boston Scientific in Paris. During his career, Mr. Boulianne has acquired a vast transactional expertise which has allowed him to play a key role in many major transactions carried out for the business units.
Mr. Boulianne has a Bachelor of Political Science and a double degree in civil law and common law (B.C.L./LL.B.) from McGill University and a Master of International Law from the Université Aix-Marseille in France. He is a member of the Quebec, Ontario and New York bar.
