Denis Boulianne

Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary


Denis Boulianne manages all the activities of the Legal department of Ivanhoé Cambridge, including assisting the investment teams with acquisitions, dispositions, financings, partnerships and property development projects, as well as with operations related to assets under direct management. He is also responsible for the Corporate and Compliance team and is Secretary of the Board of Directors of Ivanhoé Cambridge Inc.

Mr. Boulianne has been practising law for more than 20 years. He joined Ivanhoé Cambridge in September 2007. Previously, he practised law with Fasken Martineau in Toronto and Shearman & Sterling in Paris before joining the Legal department of Boston Scientific in Paris. During his career, Mr. Boulianne has acquired extensive transactional expertise, which has enabled him to play a key role in many major transactions carried out for the business units.

Mr. Boulianne has a Bachelor of Political Science and a double degree in civil law and common law (B.C.L./LL.B.) from McGill University and a Master of International Law from Aix-Marseille Université in France. He is a member of the Quebec, Ontario and New York bars.
