Joannie Tanguay
Vice President, Operational Performance, United States and Latin America
Joannie Tanguay has been Vice President, Operational Performance for the United States and Latin America hub since January 2023. In this role, she is responsible for enhancing the hub’s approach to overall performance.
Joannie joined Ivanhoé Cambridge in 2018 to manage strategic planning activities. The following year, she was appointed Senior Director, Strategy and Transformation, with a mandate to drive the Company’s transformation. In addition to these responsibilities, she established and managed a rotation program for cohorts of Investment and Asset Management analysts, an innovative initiative that expedites the development and mobility of talents within the Company. Prior to her current role, she oversaw Ivanhoé Cambridge’s global strategy as Vice President, Strategy and Execution.
Before joining Ivanhoé Cambridge, Joannie was a strategy consultant at KPMG. Over the years, she advised executives from various industries, helping them tackle a wide range of issues.
Joannie is known for her pragmatism and her ability to make informed and bold decisions that move organizations forward. She brings out the best in everyone and rallies them towards a common mission. Joannie holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA from Université Laval.
