Ivanhoé Cambridge proud to raise $100 K in support of Make-a-Wish Foundation BC & Yukon

More than $850,000 were raised over the course of 30 years

On July 21, 2015, Ivanhoé Cambridge hosted the 30th annual Make-a-Wish golf tournament in Surrey, British Columbia, and raised $100,000 in support of Make-a-Wish Foundation BC & Yukon. Since its inception in 1985, the golf tournament has raised more than $850,000. Ivanhoé Cambridge is proud of its B.C. operations employees who volunteer each year to ensure the success of this important event.

Moreover, the partnership truly makes a difference in the life of children who have seen their wishes granted over the years. Some have experienced Disneyland, some have played hockey with the Vancouver Canucks, while others visited the set of a Hollywood film production. The foundation’s mission is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.

“We would like to thank our employees and business partners from British Columbia for their support,” said Charles Champagne, Vice President, Operations, Central and Western Canada, Ivanhoé Cambridge. “Their participation made this event a resounding success, and allowed our properties to make a significant contribution, which in turn will make these children’s dreams come true.”
