Ivanhoé Cambridge announces the sale of the office building located at 33 rue La Fayette, in the 9th district of Paris. The transaction was concluded with the German real estate investments company, Deka Immobilien.
The building site forms a complete island surrounded by rue La Fayette, rue Lafitte, rue de la Victoire and rue Saint-Georges. This modern head-office building represents 27,000 m2 (295,000 ft2) of office spaces and 1,300 m2 (13,400 ft2) of residential spaces. It is the current headquarters of the company Areva.
“This transaction fits perfectly with the repositioning of our assets in Europe, said Meka Brunel, Executive Vice President, Europe, Ivanhoé Cambridge. “In recent months, we have completed certain dispositions of assets that have reached maturity. These assets have been replaced by investments that meet our long term investment priorities.”
