Paris, June 27, 2023 – Ivanhoé Cambridge is proud to announce the signing of a lease with Banque Palatine for more than 7,000 m² of space in the Joya office campus in Val-de-Fontenay.
Banque Palatine, a subsidiary of Groupe BPCE, offers services to medium-sized enterprises (known in France as ETIs) and has worked alongside entrepreneurs in achieving their professional and personal ambitions for more than 240 years. It serves some 13,000 companies and 50,000 private-banking customers through its network of 26 Entreprises & Banque Privée (corporate and private banking) agencies and four Banque Palatine Premium remote agencies, working in synergy with business specialists in wealth, legal and fiscal engineering, investment counselling, global executive wealth management, corporate finance, real estate, international, trading floor, and more.
“In choosing Joya as the new headquarters of Banque Palatine, we are charting a course to 2030 for our bank,” says Didier Moaté, CEO, Banque Palatine. “Joya perfectly embodies our commitment to excellence, be it in environmental responsibility or quality of workplace life for the bank’s employees. Fully illustrating our values of progress, innovation and togetherness in the service of the excellence we owe our customers, Joya will henceforth be a site that symbolizes the connection between our heritage and our future as a maison de banque.”
Joya is in the East Paris multimodal transport hub, three minutes’ walk from the Val-de-Fontenay station, served by RER lines A and E (and eventually subway lines 1 and 15) as well as by tramway line T1. The building’s location in the heart of the leading service-sector cluster in the eastern part of the French capital means it is particularly well connected to the major hubs of the city.
Designed by the architecture firm ECDM, the amenity-rich Joya offers occupants a wealth of services to ensure a stimulating and modern work experience, including a food court, bakery and Italian brew pub, Mökki concierge services, a fitness room, an auditorium, shared meeting rooms and co-working spaces, along with accessible gardens, planted patios and terraces, all combining to make it an ideal place for work and collaboration. Built to stringent environmental standards for both construction and operation, Joya has received the following certifications and labels: BREEAM Niveau Excellent, HQE Niveau Excellent and Effinergie+. The building is also OsmoZ-certified for quality of life at work.
“We are delighted to welcome Banque Palatine to Joya, where it will benefit from hyperconnected spaces that combine flexibility, wellness and environmental performance,” says Audrey Camus, Vice President, Development and Asset Management, Europe, Ivanhoé Cambridge. “This lease signing, in a challenging rental market, is proof that in-person office spaces remain relevant for major users. It also validates our vision of next-generation, flexible workspaces focused on occupants’ needs and expectations.”
Ivanhoé Cambridge was advised in this transaction by CBRE and GALM.
