Ivanhoé Cambridge receives 4 awards at 2018 IPE Real Estate Global Awards including Best Global Investor

Once again this year, Ivanhoé Cambridge has been honoured by its peers during the IPE Real Estate Global Awards which took place in Milan on May 15th.

After receiving earlier in the evening the awards for Best Listed Strategy, Best Strategy in Emerging Markets, and Best Value-Added Strategy, the jury awarded Ivanhoé Cambridge the most coveted award of the evening: the Best Global Investor of the Year award.

The Global Real Estate Investor of the Year award recognizes the real estate investor for the global roll-out of its real estate investment program, leading to overall strong results.

“Being recognized and held in such high regard by our peers, the community of global institutional investors is a rare honour,” said Daniel Fournier, our Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “This could not have been possible without our best asset: our dedicated and talented people.”

“With an impressive list of developments, they continue to be an amazing and sophisticated investor where buildings are not ‘trophy’ but large and strategic” – A judge’s comment on the Best Value-Added Strategy award win.

Now in its 14th year, the IPE Real Estate Global Conference & Awards is an important event for institutional investors providing a forum to examine the key issues facing the industry. This year’s conference focused on key trends such as inflation, climate change and demographics.

In 2017, the Company took home the prize for Best Investment in Latin America.
