Supported by a motivated workforce of more than 4,000 employees, Ancar Ivanhoe has been recognized as the 2nd best place to work in Rio de Janeiro by the research firm Great Place to Work®. Ancar Ivanhoe is a subsidiary of Ivanhoé Cambridge.
The survey that led to this award took into account employees’ perception of and confidence in their work environment as well as the importance that the companies place on management practices. The company rose to 2nd place in this ranking in 2016 from 3rd in 2015.
One of the reasons behind the excellent ranking is the development of an innovative web-based internal platform, University Ancar Ivanhoe (UAI), which offers training and development for the entire team. The platform allows employees to share internal knowledge as well as to benefit from content from all over the world.
