Ivanhoé Cambridge’s Southgate Centre will be the first North American shopping centre to host the Van Gogh Museum Edition Collection from October 16 to Novembre 15, 2015. This one-of-kind pop-up museum innovation will not only enhance the shopping experience, but also promote culture and education.
The collection consists of nine carefully selected masterpieces. Each work is reproduced by means of a most advanced technique called “Reliefography” developed by Fujifilm Europe. It allows the Van Gogh Museum to recreate Van Gogh’s art in full three-dimensional, high-quality details and resemble the original works as close as possible.
During the exhibition Southgate Centre will organize various events and visits of private tours and schools in partnership with the arts and educational communities of Edmonton.
