Ivanhoé Cambridge received a Green Star from GRESB

The Green Star ranking underlines the Company’s strong corporate social responsibility performance

Ivanhoé Cambridge was given a Green Star ranking in its first-ever participation to the annual Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) survey, which looked at 688 real estate entities around the world.

The Green Star ranking underlines the Company’s strong corporate social responsibility (CSR) performance, more specifically the implementation of its policies and measurement systems. Moreover, the Company achieved above-average performances in Management and Environmental Monitoring System, Management of Risks and Opportunities, Performance Indicators, as well as property environmental certifications such as LEED. These results clearly illustrate the extent to which CSR is ingrained in Ivanhoé Cambridge’s culture.

“Corporate social responsibility guides our thinking in so many areas, but it is imperative that we, in the real estate business, become leaders in energy management,” said Bill Tresham, President, Ivanhoé Cambridge.
