Ivanhoé Cambridge announced today that it has received LEED® EBOM (Existing Buildings, Operations and Maintenance) Gold certification for Towers A, B and C of the IBC office building complex in Frankfurt, Germany.

LEED® certification is a well-established standard in North America and is recognized and sought after by tenants and international investors. The LEED® EBOM Gold certification of the IBC Complex is among the first granted in the German market.

“At Ivanhoé Cambridge, we believe in the economic and environmental benefits of LEED® certifications,” declared Meka Brunel, Executive Vice-President, Europe, Ivanhoé Cambridge. “IBC offers tenants a highly efficient and truly pleasing work setting in a technologically advanced environment. This distinction provides the complex a significant competitive advantage and is the result of a major effort to raise the bar in terms of sustainability and energy resource management.”

About the IBC Complex
Built in 2003 and 2004 and acquired in 2005 and 2007, the IBC office buildings provide more than 75,000 m2 (814,000 ft2) of Class A office space in the western part of Frankfurt, home to some of Europe’s top banks and major hotels. Key tenants include Deutsche Bank, KfW and Degussa Bank. Office space is made efficient by alternating open areas and individual offices.
