Ivanhoe Cambridge is proud to announce that CrossIron Mills (Rocky View, Alberta), a shopping centre owned and managed by the Company, received last night a prestigious international VIVA Best-of-the-best Award (Marketing category), from the International Council of Shopping Centers, at a ceremony held in Las Vegas. The very coveted VIVA Best-of-the-Best Award honors and recognizes the most outstanding achievements in shopping centre design and development, sustainability, marketing and community service worldwide.
This year, only three awards were given, including CrossIron Mills who was honored for its particularly creative advertising campaign “Beyond the Ordinary”, launched in anticipation of its Grand Opening in August 2009.
Moreover, Southgate Centre (Edmonton, Alberta), a shopping centre also owned and managed by Ivanhoe Cambridge, won a honoree certificate to recognize its “Aug. 5” campaign that inaugurated its new expansion wing.
“We are very proud of our teams whose talent clearly distinguishes itself. Winning a VIVA Award is a remarkable accomplishment, and is proof positive that our centres are amongst the most dynamic shopping destinations in the world.
