Ivanhoe Cambridge is proud to announce that, for the second year in a row, it has earned a spot on Canada’s “Green 30” list, thanks to its employees’ positive feedback regarding its environmental practices. This list was compiled by Aon Hewitt from some 200 Canadian companies that took part in the 2010 Best Employers in Canada survey.
“We are delighted that our employees recognize our convictions in terms of social responsibility and sustainable development. They whole-heartedly embrace our efforts to protect the environment and find effective ways of reducing our carbon footprint,” said Kim McInnes, President and Chief Executive Officer.
The Company published its first report on corporate social responsibility and sustainable development in 2010, thereby laying the foundations for future endeavours in this regard. The report looks at the status of the CSR practices implemented by Ivanhoe Cambridge over the years and identifies areas where further improvements can be made.
“Sustainability is one of our corporate goals and one of our core values. We will continue to seek out solutions for integrating sustainable practices into every aspect of our operations and promote them throughout the organization,” added Mr. McInnes.
