Gilles Horrobin represents the Société des transports de Montréal’s pension fund, one of Ivanhoé Cambridge’s shareholders. He has worked for the STM pension fund since September 2000 and was promoted to Chief Investment Officer in 2012. Previously, he worked for Cadim Inc. as Portfolio Manager and Director, Stock Markets, from October 1997 to September 2000.

He has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a finance major and a P.M.E. from Montreal’s Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC Montréal). He has also completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program with the Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR).
