Vice-President, Public Affairs and Communications


As Vice President, Public Affairs and Communications, Debby Cordeiro is responsible for optimizing Ivanhoé Cambridge’s positioning in all of its business sectors. In addition to internal and external communications, she also leads business and philanthropic outreach. She plays a key role in promoting and maintaining Ivanhoé Cambridge's reputation with stakeholders and is the guardian of the company's brand image.

With a Bachelor as well as a Master’s in French Letters from McGill University, Debby has over 20 years of experience in corporate communications, marketing, and brand management.

Prior to joining Ivanhoé Cambridge, Debby made her mark as Vice-President of Communications at Pomerleau, where she revamped the brand identity, promoted the company across Canada and co-led the national team tasked with managing the entirety of the company’s actions in response to the global pandemic. From 2007 to 2018, she held management positions in marketing, corporate communications, and public affairs at TELUS (TELUS Health). She also held progressively more responsible positions in marketing and communications at La Société des Alcools du Québec (SAQ) between 2005 and 2007.

Debby is very involved in her community. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of Doctors of the World Canada for several years, and also sits on the Board of the Musée National des Beaux-Arts du Québec.
