Ivanhoé Cambridge announces the appointment of Denis Couture as Executive Vice-President, Public and International Affairs

In addition to public affairs, his responsibilities will include industry and governmental relations on an international basis.

Ivanhoé Cambridge announced today the appointment of Denis Couture as Executive Vice-President, Public and International Affairs. In addition to public affairs, his responsibilities will include industry and governmental relations on an international basis. He will play a strategic counsel role with respect to Ivanhoé Cambridge’s global repositioning. This appointment is effective immediately. He will also oversee the transition of his role at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec.

Mr. Couture has held several senior executive positions including as Executive Vice-President, Public Affairs with the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and as Senior Vice-President, Corporate and International Affairs, with Brookfield Asset Management. He was also responsible for communications and governmental relations at Domtar and for external communications at Air Canada.
