Ivanhoé Cambridge appoints Ajay Phull Head of Investments, UK

Ivanhoé Cambridge announces the appointment of Ajay Phull as Head of Investments, UK. Ajay Phull will be responsible for all investment activities across the United Kingdom and will work closely with a team of seasoned executives in London, Paris, Luxemburg and Berlin, strengthening the firm’s pan-European growth strategy. Based in London, he will be reporting to Arnaud Malbos, Head of Investments, Europe.

The appointment is the second senior hire in the UK this year, following Richard Saul joining as Director of Asset Management UK last June.

Ajay Phull has over 10 years of real estate and investment experience, most recently as Vice President at Vanke, one of the world’s largest real estate investment and development companies. At Vanke, he was responsible for formulating a UK investment strategy and sourcing real estate investment opportunities. Prior, he worked at Brockton Capital, the opportunistic private equity real estate investor, underwriting and executing over 10 successful transactions. He began his career at PwC’s Real Estate Corporate Finance and Restructuring team, advising on complex structuring and restructuring transactions valued in excess of £3 billion.

Ajay Phull is a certified Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and holds a B.Sc (Honours) in Land Management from the University of Reading.

Ivanhoé Cambridge’s investments in the UK exceed £2 billion and consists mostly of properties and projects in the logistics, office and residential sectors.
