Martin Roy is the representative of the shareholder Association de bienfaisance et de retraite des policiers et policières de la Ville de Montréal. He joined the Association in May 2010 as Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors and was appointed President and General Manager in 2014. From 1998 to 2010, Mr. Roy worked for the Fraternité des policiers et policières de Montréal as Vice President, Labour Relations, and a member of the Executive Board. Mr. Roy began his career in 1991 as a police officer.

He obtained a Human Resources Management Certificate from the École des Hautes Études Commerciales de Montréal (HEC Montréal) and is a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés as a Certified Industrial Relations Counsellor (CRIA).
