Executive Vice President, Organizational Alignment and Human Resources
Josée Girard is responsible for all human resources management activities at Ivanhoé Cambridge. Her duties include establishing a strategic framework for talent acquisition and management, succession plans, performance management, total compensation, changing skill and expertise needs, and corporate culture. To that end, she oversees changes and organizational alignment for implementation of the IC 2022 Strategic Plan (anticipate, innovate, perform) in line with the Company’s values, diversity and inclusion, employee engagement and innovation.
Ms. Girard joined the Ivanhoé Cambridge management team in August 2019. She has more than 25 years of experience, mainly in human resources, but has also held various positions in operations, research and development, health, safety and environment.
Before joining Ivanhoe Cambridge, she served as Vice President, Human Resources, at Rio Tinto Aluminium, where she acquired solid global experience. In addition, she was Vice President, People and Culture, at CBC/Radio-Canada in 2015-16.
