As Senior Vice President, Innovation at Ivanhoé Cambridge, François is responsible for optimizing and implementing the company’s innovation program, while leading internal transversal teams and the external partner ecosystem in collaborative efforts to execute a variety of property and company projects and pilots. Active in the property technology (PropTech) industry and multiple innovation communities, François works daily to identify opportunities where Ivanhoé Cambridge can create a lasting impact by acting as an authoritative source of complete urban solutions centred on people’s needs.

Recognized as an entrepreneur, a seasoned strategist, and an agent of change within corporate cultures, François Lacoursière has leveraged his creative spirit for over 25 years. Formerly a Senior Partner at Sid Lee, a network of global agencies founded in Montreal, he contributed significantly to Sid Lee’s transformation into the successful agency it is today. François kicked off his collaboration with Ivanhoé Cambridge through Sid Lee’s architecture division, where he contributed to the revitalization of the Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth Hotel and Place Ville-Marie. Now known as Projet Nouveau Centre, this initiative introduced a redefined urban experience and a refreshed commercial offer for the company's downtown Montreal properties.
