As Senior Vice President, Innovation at Ivanhoé Cambridge, François is responsible for optimizing and bringing forward the various innovation activities, while leading collaborative efforts involving teams transversally.

Recognized as an entrepreneur, a seasoned strategist and an agent of change within the corporate cultures, François Lacoursière has put his creative mind to profit for more than 25 years. Formerly a Senior Partner at Sid Lee, a world-class agency based in Montreal, François orchestrated numerous brand transformations for as many industries, geographies and disciplines. He has greatly contributed to Sid Lee’s development and success at becoming the global agency it is today, all the while playing various roles and making many leading brands and companies benefit from his expertise.

François’ ease at navigating throughout and understanding the commercial dynamics of new industries and disciplines along with his intellectual curiosity, his open-mindedness and his strong ability at making connections and building successful and long-term business relationships, are roots for his reputation.

He has been very active in the communication industry as a speaker and jury member for many competitions, and has chaired the Board of Directors of the Association of Creative Communication Agencies as well as was a member of the Board of Directors of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.

Most recently, he has been leading the Projet Nouveau Centre strategy and the revitalization of both Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth and Place Ville Marie.
