Bertrand Julien-Laferrière is a real estate professional who is renowned in France and internationally for his extensive and varied experience in the office, retail and hotel sectors in a wide range of leadership roles.

Over the past 15 years, Mr. Julien-Laferrière has held executive positions with major publicly traded companies, such as Unibail-Rodamco, a commercial real estate leader with more than €40 billion of assets in Europe, and Société Foncière Lyonnaise, an office specialist with more than €4 billion of assets in central Paris. Before becoming a consultant and director two years ago, Mr. Julien-Laferrière founded and successfully developed Ardian, a pan-European real estate investment fund and one of the largest private equity firms in Europe.

He previously held executive positions with Groupe Accor Hôtels, Club Méditerranée and CGW Gestion d’Actifs and was also General Manager of the leading international architectural firm Ricardo Bofill.

Mr. Julien-Laferrière holds an engineering degree from École centrale Paris, a Master of Science from UC Berkeley and a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD. He is married with two daughters.
