Taking the shopping centre industry to the next level
By participating in various industry associations, Ivanhoe Cambridge can take action on issues affecting shopping centres and help protect their interests. Its managers regularly attend association events and meetings and sit on a number of committees designed to advance and share industry knowledge.

In addition, the Company’s excellent showing year after year at the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) awards speaks to its leadership position and its teams’ dedication to innovation and performance.

The drive to outperform
Ivanhoe Cambridge encourages its teams to constantly outdo themselves and share their success stories in various industry competitions. This is also a way to benchmark its performance against that of other industry leaders and contribute to the steady improvement of standards across the board.

Reaching out to the world
In May 2007, René Tremblay, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ivanhoe Cambridge, began his one-year term as Worldwide Chairman of ICSC, the world’s largest trade association for the shopping centre industry.

Taking on the Chinese market
Ivanhoe Cambridge’s Shanghai team has conducted a training program for the Chinese Central Government’s Ministry of Commerce to help them better understand the shopping centre industry.

The Maple Leaf Award winners were unveiled at the ICSC Canadian annual convention in Toronto, on September 26, 2007.
